Schroeder Solutions is pleased to welcome Sara Plautz and Peter Cherchian to its team of Workplace Consultants.
Sara Plautz brings over five years of design and sales expertise to the Schroeder Solutions Account Management Team. Design knowledge and experience in the residential sector is always an asset to the sales process at Schroeder Solutions. This background will serve Plautz’s clients well as she guides them through the project process. Her business development instincts, drive and positive energy makes her an exciting addition to the Schroeder Solutions team.
Plautz grew up in the construction industry as her father has owned a high end custom cabinetry business based out of Wausau for 37 years. She returns home to visit her family and dog Reggie as much as possible. An average week for Plautz is full of work and working out; she is sort of a gym rat. She also enjoys many outdoor activities, such as hiking, boating, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, snowboarding, etc. In September of 2016 she went parasailing 1,020 feet above Lake Tahoe…even though she is afraid of heights. She believes in making the most out of every day!
Joining the team as a Senior Account Manager, Peter Cherchian is a sales and marketing management strategist with over 14 years of industry experience. His leadership skills and strategic thinking will add great value and depth to the Schroeder Solutions team. As a project manager, he has a responsive and detailed approach and a sincere desire for the success of his clients.
Outside of the office Cherchian enjoys spending time with his family, his wife Sarah (of 12 years) and three boys. When he is not with them, riding and racing anything on two wheels, golf, soccer, and chess keep his mind and body occupied. You may also find Cherchian playing some video games from time to time or tasting some of the many Wisconsin microbrews.
Holidays are a big deal at Schroeder. They are a special time for us to gather around the table and bond over something that is important to each of us. And that’s usually food. We really love food.
If it’s a holiday, there’s a good chance we will throw a party featuring tons of delicious homemade dishes and desserts. The desserts might be gone within 10 minutes though, because we really can’t resist indulging in the sweetness.
We recently celebrated Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day with ginormous potluck feasts. Our employees brought in fun holiday-themed food and beverages to share and everyone enjoyed one another’s company.
We took a break from work to relax and spend some quality time with our amazing co-workers. What a beautiful sight it was! We also took note of who the good cooks and bakers are in the office.
We look forward to our office parties each month and can’t wait to pick which holiday we will celebrate next! Will it be April Fools’ Day? Cinco de Mayo? National Hug Your Cat Day? It’s a mystery, but we will most likely celebrate them all in one way or another!
We have been fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in a couple of different volunteering events this past year. Giving back to the community and helping those in need truly has been a rewarding experience for our employees. We are excited to continue the gift of volunteering this year and look forward to creating many more meaningful experiences together.
Take a look at some of our past community service work:
Joe’s Run, Walk and Roll: Schroeder Solutions was a proud sponsor and participant of Joe’s Run, Walk and Roll, which took place this past September at Hart Park. Each year, Joe’s Run, Walk and Roll provides a critical source of funding for Broadscope Disability Services that advances opportunities for people with disabilities and their families. Our Schroeder team walked together on the most beautiful fall day in support of a truly amazing cause!
Milwaukee BroomBall Classic Tournament: We were also proud sponsors and participants of the 2015 Milwaukee BroomBall Classic Tournament this past December at the MSOE Kern Center. We had two Schroeder teams participate in the tournament and give it their all out on the ice. We had a blast cheering on our Schroeder teams and watching them attempt to run on the ice! All proceeds from this event benefited the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee.
We are so excited to announce that we recently added four new, talented members to our Schroeder Family. From design, logistics to marketing, our new hires are ready to take on new client projects and expand our business developments.
Sarah K. Raab Lerche, Director of Interior Design: Raab Lerche brings 30 years of commercial design experience to our own design department. She will lead and manage the design team along with large-scale client projects. Raab Lerche has a strong drive for customer service and a passion for mentoring and teaching young designers.
Bryce Schmidtke, Logistics Coordinator: Schmidtke has extensive logistics experience due to time spent running the logistics department of a company that specializes in pharmaceutical deliveries to Assisted Living Communities and hospitals in Wisconsin. He enjoys overcoming the obstacles and challenges of logistics to successfully complete his client projects.
